The money you save into your pension is invested into one or more ‘funds'. A range of funds is available from Standard Life and other companies. Because there is a large number of funds to choose from, the Fund Selection Tool will help create a shortlist of funds based on your answers to some simple questions. It will not give you advice on which funds to pick. The final decision on where to invest your money will be your responsibility. If you are unsure about whether a fund is right for you, you should speak to a financial adviser. There may be a cost associated with doing this. We make reference to the phrase volatility throughout this tool. For a definition of this, please click here |
A shortlist of funds based on your answers, which can be used to help you select or review your fund choice.
Typically it will take 5-10 minutes to complete. It could take longer if you want more detailed information on the funds or a high degree of involvement in how your money is invested. |
As the Fund Selection Tool is based on our current range of available pension funds, it will not be appropriate for all of our pension contracts. Please check a fund is available for your pension before applying to join or switching funds. This information can be found in your joining pack or you can contact Standard Life directly. Please check your Key Features Document for the appropriate contact details.
